ProjectCam ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. Data Storage and Information Collection
Camera and Microphone Access
ProjectCam requires access to your device's camera and microphone to function as a camera application.
- Camera Access: Required to capture photos and videos. All captured media is stored in your device's app sandbox.
- Microphone Access: Required for audio recording during video capture. Recorded audio is saved locally only as part of video files.
Locally Stored Data
The following data is stored only on your device:
- Photo and Video Files: All captured media files (JPEG, MOV/MP4 formats)
- Project Information: Metadata such as project name, description, creation date, and update date
- App Settings: Camera settings and user preferences
Information We Collect
We collect only minimal information on our servers:
- Anonymous User ID: A unique identifier generated by Firebase Anonymous Authentication. We do not collect personal information (name, email address, phone number).
- Account Creation Date: We only record when the anonymous user account was created.
Ad Tracking (App Tracking Transparency)
The App may request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission to display rewarded ads.
- Opt-in: Ad tracking permission is entirely optional. You can use the app's basic features without granting permission.
- SKAdNetwork: Ad attribution is measured through Apple's SKAdNetwork in a privacy-preserving manner.
Purchase Information
- In-App Purchases: We use Apple's StoreKit 2 for processing premium feature purchases. We do not collect or store your payment information. All payment processing is handled securely by Apple.
- Purchase Records: We store purchase status information locally on your device to enable premium features.

Access and Control

- Deletion: You can delete individual media, projects, or all data
- Export: You can share or export captured media to other apps
Data Deletion
To delete all data:
- Delete each project within the app
- Or uninstall the app to delete all local data
Note: Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all photos, videos, and project data and cannot be recovered.
Opting Out of Ad Tracking
To disable ad tracking:
- Go to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
- Disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
- Or select "Ask App Not to Track" in the ATT dialogue when the app first launches
Children's Privacy
ProjectCam is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected information from your child, please contact us immediately.
Data Retention
- Media Data: Stored on your device until you manually delete it or uninstall the app
- Project Data: Stored on your device until you manually delete it or uninstall the app
- Anonymous User ID: Retained as a Firebase anonymous account but contains no personally identifiable information
International Data Transfers
ProjectCam is available worldwide in over 40 languages. If you use the app outside your country of residence, please note:
- Media data is stored locally on your device (no cloud transfer)
- Firebase authentication data may be processed in the United States or other countries where Google operates
- Ad data may be processed through Google Mobile Ads infrastructure

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
